Once again, it is that time of year when we gather to celebrate the hard work that our students and educators have accomplished. This year marks the 125th anniversary of the Veterans of Foreign, and there is no better way to honor this tradition than by announcing our 2025 Voice of Democracy, Patriot's Pen, and Teacher of the Year Educational Programs.
This year's event will be hosted at the QUONSET "O" CLUB, located at 200 Lt. James Brown Rd N. Kingstown, RI02852. The event will take place on January 25th from 4-7 PM. Dress code is Semi-Formal.
This year we will have the honor of having our National Senior-Vice Commander Carol Whitmore attending this year's event. She was elected Senior Vice Commander-in-Chief of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States on Aug. 1, 2024, at the 125th VFW National Convention in Louisville, Kentucky. Carol served in the U.S. Army from 1977 to 2013, earning her VFW eligibility by serving in Iraq. We look forward to her arrival.
